RecycleDiscussion
Is there any point!

I do recycle, but shouldn't we be trying top reduce first?? Recycling is generally downcycling (lowering quality with each cycle). Reduce seems much more powerful!

Reduce is the first step. The less you make, the less to manage. The key is reduce...and make sure what you do use is recyclable rather than garbage. It's hard to do....our consumer society is set up to be disposable first, environmental later. But we're slowly but surely changing. Keep up the good fight!

maybe the only intelligent thing to come out of live earth. MSM keeps pulling the videos from youtube, so watch it now, or you might never get the chance again.

4: Human-caused C02 warming is a major psy op. To learn more, look at the news and other sections at: nrsp.com [nrsp.com]

5: we don't know when human-made global warming will destroy civilization, but we know that peak oil will destroy human civilization within 15 years if we don't replace petrofuels as quickly and cheaply as possible

thin-film solar power and algae biodiesel stand out as clear winners, poised to economically clobber petrofuels within 10 years, depending on when the politicians pull their heads out of their whored-out asses.

one small thing I've wanted to point out: most fleet vehicles (buses, trucks) in the US run on diesel, and diesel engines run perfectly on biodiesel. therefore, don't let politicians replace fleet vehicles with non-diesel engines to promote ethanol (which has a terrible EROIE, acre/yield, compared to algae biodiesel) otherwise you are just stupid and I will hate you silently in my imagination.

7: I hate the peak oilers, they're Malthusian conservationists. they have wet dreams about genocide on a mass scale, reducing the population to 1/5.

they don't understand the systemic effects of education on population control. they prove that a little learning is a dangerous thing.

nevertheless, peak oil is still a fact, independent of the peak oilers.
